Our Collaboration with Schools Grows
DDX Software Solutions is a company deeply rooted in the local area. This is evident in our ongoing commitment to collaborating and engaging with schools in the province of Bergamo. Our academic guidance activity aims at enabling students to get more information about the business world in order to enter with a better understanding of the professional opportunities within.
On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, we visited the D.M. Turoldo Institute of Higher Education in Zogno to talk to the first-year students about our activities, our values, and the people who make up the driving force behind the DDX business.
The educational meeting provided an in-depth overview of the CAD/CAM software we have developed to optimise the management of CNC machining centres.
School-Work: Two Distinct Worlds, an Indissoluble Link
Why is academic guidance in schools so important? The answer is simple: the students’ theoretical knowledge meets the concrete needs of businesses, generating more opportunities.
From an educational perspective, these initiatives are crucial to help new generations understand:
- what a company does;
- the departments’ mansions;
- the solutions produced;
- the business values;
- what companies are looking for.
An Opportunity to Discover the DDX World
During the presentation, first-year students had the chance to learn more about the structure of an innovative IT company and discuss the ongoing technological progress.
The meeting was attended by:
- Giordano Nava, HR Manager, DDX
- Luca Fornari, Service Director, DDX
- Camilla Carrarini, Marketing and Communication Manager, DDX
Professor Salvi from the Turoldo Institute in Zogno moderated the event, facilitating a fruitful exchange between students and company representatives.
There were plenty of questions and moments of discussion. At the end of the meeting, the classes participated in an interactive quiz, with the top 5 winners receiving DDX-branded gadgets.
After the prize-giving, interviews were conducted with the students to gather their impressions of the meeting and their thoughts about the future. These were valuable testimonials in helping us better understand their point of view and obtain immediate feedback on the presentation.
